October 2, 2010

Today, we all went to the dr. It was fun. And then we surprised Grandma El and Papa SCott. After that, we went to see Clare and Chris at Athena at their house. It was fun. They had lots of toys that I played with. Then, we all took a nap and played more at home. Tanner and I loved playing together in the kitchen, although he did keep trying to put me in a jail of kitchen chairs. We then took a bath and went to bed. Fun day.

October 1, 2010

My first day home with Mommy Nancy. We played a lot. We read books and had a tea party. I kept wanting to play with the airplane toy. But, we had our coffee talk in our chair in the morning and talked about what we wanted to do that day. And then we took Tanner to school. After, we went to Cub Foods and I got to drive the cart. I loved it. I kept turning around and smiling at mommy. And I loved to play with the balloons in the store. It was so much fun. In the afternoon, we all went to the park. Tanner drove me in the Barbie car and we played in the sand. I crawled off on my own. I am so independent. And we went in the swing and then drove the Hummer in the driveway. Lots of fun! Later that night, I was with Grandma Sue too.

last day of school

i had my last day at Goddard for a little while. I am going to stay home with Mommy Nancy. I will miss my friends, but hope it is fun!

First Birthday !!!

I had my first birthday on the 18th! We had such a fun time! Mommy Nancy and Mommy Amy decorated the house with balloons and a bday sign and it was great! I got to wear a princess tiara and i loved it! All of our family and friends were there. And I had a cake all to myself. I loved eating it. I even ate it with my mouth. It was awesome! Mine was chocolate and then we had a big cake for everyone that was white with white frosting and decorated with "HAppy Birthday, PRincess Sadie!" Awesome! yay!

Sadie – June?

Sadie enjoyed playing at the balance bar and looking in the mirror. She ate yogurt, had a bottle at 1145, squash and her puffs at 1:30 and all of her bottle at 4. She took a nap from 1015 to 1140 and 310 – 355.

Tanner gave me a ride in his Hummer last night! So much fun!

I loved teasing him last night too...i started to give him some of my food, but then took it away at the last second. He giggled and I giggled too. So cute!

I like to eat food hat I can pick up...so I refused my bottle today in the morning. I ate lots of mac and cheese and bananas and graham crackers. Love them!

August 2 - 6, 2010

The theme for this week at school wsa "Let's go camping". I looked and smiled at my teacher when she said my name. We did an art paroject with chocolate pudding and created a grizzly bear! We sat by a pretend camp fire and sang camp fire songs with our teacher. I am trying to use a sippy cup more and more! And we got to feel a soft marshmallow and a hard graham cracker.

My teachers wrote that I had a great week. I enjoyed sensory stimulation, music and movement and creative art. And I liked practicing my sign language.

my first tooth!

on Monday, august 9th, I got my first tooth! yay! it poked through the bottom on my left side. Goddard also told my mommies that I chew my tongue and can roll my tongue. I am so cute!!

June 7 - 11

I am getting so big! This week at school, I am learning Animal Adventure- Forest friends. I practiced looking at my teacher when she said my name. I know I am Sadie! I held onto one stuffed animal as I reached for another. It was fun to play with two toys. I painted a forest with green paint on brown paper! I practiced pulling myself up to a standing position to look at myself in the mirror using the balance bar. I got t otouch bark on a tree too!

I loved playing and singing with Emily at the table today! I am getting up around 8. Still eating my yogurt. I like trying new foods too....like the blueberry oats.

I slept in unti 8 am today!~ I loved playing outside in the grass at school by the sprinkler. And I love my yogurt in the morning!

had my bottle with mommy n at 6 am today. I cried once when she left the room. I like having my mommies close by ! got up again at 8 am.

this week, the theme was animal adventures- days of the dinosaurs. my teacher roared like a dinosaur and held my hands while I stood up. I danced and clapped to the song "ten little dino's". I dug in the sand for fossils.

June in my classroom

June 4 was Pajama day!!! And June 18 was animal day where you wear an animal on your shirt. The school theme for the summer is "Let's go exploring". In June, it was all about Animal Adventures.Including a Safari buggy ride, digging for dinosaur fossils, painting with bubbles.

Water days are on Tuesday afternoons.

diva

sometimes, my mommies say that i am a diva, since i cry when someone leaves or food is not getting to my mouth fast enough. I just think i know what i want and will say it! my mommies love that I am head strong and capable!

I stood up in my crib today at school! So, they had to take down my mobile and are going to have to move my crib so i do not reach the books up high next to my crib! I am a mover and a shaker!

Mommy Amy commented last night that she thinks i am super confident because i sleep with my hands above my head. And i look confident.

Mommy nancy loves that I love that big yellow duck. I love and giggle when i see it and want to hug it.

my day

i wake up at 6 am or so and have a bottle with mommy nancy and then go back to sleep. And then i go to school and eat my yogurt, which i love. At school, i eat and play and take naps. I have a bottle at noon and real food at 2 or so and another bottle at 3 or 4. I sleep from 9 - 11 usually and sometimes in the afternoon from 2 -3 , but sometimes i love to be part of action, so i do not sleep. Then, i go home and eat dinner and play and start to get sleepy around 7 or 8.

last week, we had water day and I loved it! I wore my little daisy swimsuit and loved playing in the water.

tanner's bday!

today, my big brother turned 3! It was a fun day! Mommy n and tanner and I played in the morning and i loved that. And then we all went to chuck e cheese! I was in the baby bjorn, so I had a lot of fun being part of the action! I was so happy just to be involved in everything! He got lots of toys and I just got to be with everyone!

We also played hockey in the kitchen. Mommy n was holding me and we stopped pucks and shot pucks. It was fun!

i started eating cereal with juice just yeaterday and I love it! I ate all of mine today! Love it love it love it!

I am sitting up really well too. And playing with lots of toys. I love to play with toys or whatever!

I adore my big brother! He is always getting me things and toys for me or a pacifier. I love looking up to him and I have a great time with him!

new school!

i visited my new school last week a few times. I met Angelique...who said i was gorgeous and held me. I smiled at her! I guess it is mostle boys in the room...so i will be the sweet and adorable little girl! As always! I saw Tanner's room too! I am glad that we will be together in the same school! I also met some other people who will take care of me. I hope it is fun!

salon day!

mommy n and I went to the place to get a haircut last week. It was fun! I was really good and mommy n held me as she got her haircut! I sat on her chest when she got her hair washed and then when she got it cut! I kept trying to look at April! She loves me. Everyone in the hair place thought I was adorable!!!

After, i got a massage and we played a lot together and we cuddled. I also took a bath! I loved it! Mommy n sang to me the whole time and I was smiling!

After the bath, Mommy N and i fell asleep together in mommies bed. It was great. Mommy n kept saying how great it was!! I loved it too!

Last night whenwe went out to eat, these fun ladies said how cute I was. Mommy n was carrying me at the time and she is always proud of me when people do that. She is a proud mommy!

Most people comment on how much hair I have or just how cute I am!! I love it too!

valentines day

I forgot to mention that I wore a duper cute dress for valentine's day. It was red with hearts and I loved it. I looked super cute in it!

Grandpa Pat and Grandma Barb came out here on valentine's day weekend with Aunt Katie. It was fun. They held me a lot and played with me and said how cute I was. Fun!

Mommy a did my hair today in pigtails. I look cute, but I make them fall out all the time.

ate more!

I ate more solid food today. It was fun...although I get tired of it too. AFter Mommy N fed me solids...she gave me a bottle of breast milk and I drank it all up. And when Mommy A woke up...she breast fed me a full amount of milk! I was full!

Then, we all played and now..they read a book to me too. I like that part! Tonight, we also went to Arby's and some grandma type ladies stopped me and told me how adorable I am. I love hearing that!

I ate solid food yesterday!!

Yesterday, on February 26th, I ate solid food. Well...rice ceral mixed in with breast milk...but all good stuff! My mommies had been saying lately that they thought I was ready...but I definitely let them know I was ready! Mommy A put a little bit of yogurt on my tongue...and I tried to eat it...and grabbed her arm. As if to say "leave the yogurt!!". So, they fed me some cereal and it was great! I am still learning to eat. I kinda push the food out with my tongue instead of eating it....but I am learning! Yummy!

we did this crazy luge thing

mommy n and tanner and I did this crazy thing where we all sat on the floor and moved left and right. They said it was the luge...i am not so sure about it....And then Mommy A joined in. What have I gotten myself into???

fun!

Mommy N and I have been having fun together. We do massages on tuesday and thursday. I love those. And I get baths too...so it is a full spa day. We also just lay on the floor together and play or whatever. I like it!

I love to roll over and over!

I love to roll over in my gym! I just keep rolling and rolling and rolling. I love o grab things too! I always am reaching for a toy and want to put it all in my mouth!

Both of my mommies commented today about how my smile melts their hearts. Mommy a was having a stressful day and was immediately warmed up by my smile. Mommy n says that it makes the world perfect when I smile.

massage day!

Yesterday, mommy n gave me a bath, which I loved. And today, I got a massage from her! And we sang songs and laughed and smiled! I loved it!

We played all day too. With my toys a lot or just making googly eyes at each other. Mommy n tells me how cute I am all the time. And I am!!

I love to be on my tummy. I will always try to turn over to be on my tummy. Whether when I am playing or sleeping.

Yesterday, mommy n and I were looking at each other and smiling. She started to sing our song, "what a wonderful world" that she always sings to me. I looked at her and totally fell asleep. She loved it.

we all went to the brooklyn park gym and the library yesterday. I slept for part of the time in the library...but when i woke up and gave mommy n a big smile...it made her day!

mommy n took me to infant massage again thrusday. WE had a great time. I love the roly poly song with the scarfs. When mommy says "hands behind your back....and then brngs the scarfs back...i love that!

mommy n has been concerned about me taking the bottle. I only drink enough to get by until mommy a gets home. It is making mommy n a little sad and worried about me. But, i am getting better about it. I like the breast flow bottles that are supposed to be like the breast. I like those.

4 month checkup

i had my four month check up and it went great. I am doing well in all areas! I did have a fever from the shot. I do not like shots. So, I was a little bit miserable on monday and tuesday from that. But, i got better.

my tummy

i love to roll over onto my tummy. I do it all the time now. Especially as I am sleeping. I love to sleep on my tummy!

Rolling over!!

I have been rolling over for a few weeks now and I love it! I love to roll over to sleep on my tummy.!! I also love to play in my little gym and play with the giraffe. I always try to eat his legs as they are dangling.

jan 5th -i rolled all the way over

I rolled all the way over today! I have done it before, but this time I got my arm out and was just sitting there with my head up, looking adorable. At least, that is what my mommies say. Both of my mommies and Tanner came over and told me "good job".

I love Tanner. I love looking at him a lot. And he loves me too!

the week after christmas

I played with Tanner and my mommies and got lots of loving from all of them. I had a good time!

Christmas!

Santa came for me too! I got lots of dollys and a play treehouse and lots of fun stuff. I wore my adorable christmas outfir and looked great!!It was a lot of fun! YAY for Santa!
